I remember passing by this location at Exbury, but didn't realize at the time it was featured in Caravan.
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

I've done that, Julie! I can remember walking through Exbury village en-route to Lepe. I passed the building that doubled as the Pub in 'On Kirrin Island again'', & I only just noticed it on the return journey!

Dancing Ledge, Dorset. A close up of the Rock Yan stood on in 'Go down to the Sea'. I love standing on the rock & watching the waves crash all around, especially when I've got the ledge to myself!

Hi Number 6, great pictures. With Five fall into adventure. I know the scene your referring too where Durlston castle is shown, however the house they used when Jo climbed up the scaffolding where is that?

Yes, as Julie has stated, it's Lepe House. It's situated 2 miles from Exbury Village. Several scenes from 'On Kirrin island again' were filmed along the beach. The most noticeable feature to see from that episode is the white watch house on the shoreline, which doubled as Mr Curton's abode. Lepe House is set back on a slight rise. Easy to spot, though!

Thank you, Eddie! Bog standard photos, really! I hope you can make the meet up in Exbury at the end of June, or the beginning of July. You're quite an interesting chap & I'd love to learn more about your life story! Hopefully, we'll get a good turn out, assuming we can decide a date!

Thank you for your kind words, Number 6. It would be great to meet up in Exbury and Chick and I will be doing our best to be there.

Another view of Lymington town, where Mr Perton chases Richard through the back streets in Get into Trouble.

I was there on Thursday, number 6, with two of my grandkids, showing them these scenes.

Great stuff, Julie! I hope your Grandkids enjoyed themselves & the weather was kind to you. I'm assuming they're familiar with the 70's F5 series, or was it just Five get into trouble they've seen to coincide with your Lymington visit?

Is that Block signalling from the tower? Burley Manor at Burley in the New Forest, doubled as Smugglers Top! The Tower is located at the back of the Manor!
