Re: New Weekly Serial
Thank you, Daisy! I must admit I read my serial every week, too! I'm always surprised what happens next, lol - as I tend to look at it as a whole book rather than chapter by chapter, so I'm never quite sure exactly what each chapter will contain. Its always interesting to see how good or bad my 'cliff-hangers' are! I did write it with the view to it being read weekly, of course, and was always trying to end the chapter - if not on a cliff-hanger as such - then at a point where readers would be wanting to read on!
Many thanks to you for being one of the few who actually read it as a serial!

Great chapter. Wondering if he is a good or a bad person. For the time being I would say bad, but you never know... It's bad that they couldn't be there when it is returned, perhaps they would learn something from it...
I first read a lot of fanfiction on Harry Potter and while I loved those storys who were finished, I didn't like those who were too long and I also learnt to wait for the next chapter there.

Thank you Dinah - I'm so happy you are liking my story!
I much prefer reading these stories weekly, as, like Daisy, I don't print them off, and reading the full story online all in one go would be a bit of a strain, especially with long ones like mine. I think people who would rather wait and print it off will also be in for a shock, as it runs to a few hundred pages!

Re: New Weekly Serial
Anyone who was up late last night and 'tuned' into the serial, would have got the extra bonus of being able to read both chapter 16 and 17 for the price of one, due to a coding error!
Its now been rectified - so those who missed it will have to wait until next week, lol!

I email the complete story to my Kindle, then read it just like a book - with no glare!Rob Houghton wrote:Thank you Dinah - I'm so happy you are liking my story!

I might, if I had a Kindle, but then I prefer to read paper books!

You have to be careful not to spill any sherry on the screen...

Re: New Weekly Serial
Well, this is again a very good chapter and the cliffhanger makes me want it to be next Monday... I really wonder what is written on this note. I do have some ideas about other things, but I won't write them down for those who haven't read the chapters yet. I just think that the children are wrong about one person, but perhaps I might be wrong..
So, now I will have to wait patiently till next Monday to read more.

Re: New Weekly Serial
I'm pleased my 'cliff hanger' worked! I really tried to end the chapters on a point where readers wanted more! Thank you for reading my story, Diana, and for your comments - always appreciated. As for who is right or wrong...you'll have to wait and see!!
