That's a brilliant website. I usually use Real JPEG for pcitures but now I'm going to use the website.
And of course, Keith is wonderful, Matthew. He is our wonderful, hard working webmaster of all!

Re: Avatars
Don't leave the others out, Almas - Matt is the admin of the forums you enjoy so much, Tony is the Organiser of the best Society in the world, and G@K is the wonderful moderator! I also agree about Keith - Matt seemed to have disappeared up the Faraway Tree for a time, and Keith had to step in and make any fixes.
About the website Keith created, I am using it all the time now, as is my dad!!

Yes, I can certainly vouch for Tony. On my many visits to his house, he is usually to be found up to his armpits in paperwork and other Society business. For the privileged few who are allowed into the hub of the Society engineroom, his office resembles the control room of the Tardis. Goodness only knows what would happen to the Society if he decided to give it all up (or got run over by a bus)!
He's a damn fine bloke as well....

Re: Avatars
It's taking a lot of time to upload an image. Why? Is there any KB limit?

There's a 30 KB limit when uploading an avatar to your profile. If you mean Keith's resizing site, then I dunno.

Where? On the resizing tool website?

I see you've finally got an avatar, Adventure. That's a nice one because I love flowers!

Thanks, Almas.
Is your avatar an EB photo? i don't think so. It looks like a little girl's photo. Is she your sister?

Who? Me? Of course I am. But then I didn't find these EB sites on the Internet except a few months ago, so I haven't seen all of her photos.Ming wrote:Thought you were a Blyton fan....Adventure wrote:Is your avatar an EB photo?

Surely you can join the Society and view all the beautiful pictures in the Photo Album?

Of course it is an EB photo, Adventure. Why will I choose a little girl's photo in my avatar?!
It shows her as a young woman, aged 25 or 26 and now it's included in the latest edition of Enid's biography by Barbara Stoney.

Hmm... It seems that her haircut has made her look younger than she is!
Which site did you get the photo from, Almas? It must be somewhere I have never been to. Or did you scan it into the computer?
