Plastic Covers

Post by Lucky Star »

Hi all, I just purchased an old copy of The Ring o Bells Mystery with a dustjacket on ebay (from our very own Mollybob I believe). It came in an excellent plastic protective cover. I have a few other very old (not 1st) editions with dustjackets and I'd like to get some of those covers to protect them. My local stationer looked blank when I asked so does anyone know where I can buy/order them. Thanks. :D

I get rolls of book-wrapping plastic and also plastic overs (such as those which cover library paperbacks) from D & M Packaging. I've always had excellent service from them.

I didn't realise I sold it to you. All these different names are so confusing :-)
You can order a big roll of plastic cover, which you then cut to the required length. I get mine from D&M Packaging Supplies. Here's the link:

I find it really useful. I've used it for all my books.

Do you mean like a school/library book plastic cover? Which can be taken on and off easily?
Try WHsmith, they have them in different sizes.
There is always something else new to learn.
