Was it the Please Read, help Needed!! thread? If yes, it's in the Miscellaneous Blyton forum.

Don't worry, Katie. It can all get a bit confusing. We've got Forum Headings (The Society, Buy & Sell etc), then Sub-Headings (Enid Blyton Day, Games etc), then Threads (Happy Birthday Anita!, What's it all About etc).
I'm probably using all the wrong titles, but it can be a bit of a minefield.
In any event, Matt or Keith will move you around if your in the wrong place!
PS I'm confused again as I see we have a Katy and a Katie. I've only just realised that they're different people!

Re: My topic's disappeared
I posted a new topic last night about how to find more Famous Five Readathons (I found only three), but it disappeared.
Now I'm as smart as before, but still have the same question: were there any more Famous Five Readathons?

Re: My topic's disappeared
Perhaps it was deleted because there is an older thread with the same name and subject:

Re: My topic's disappeared
I get the impression you weren't following the thread, Farwa, but Tony had posted to say he was going to have to remove it as it had got completely out of hand.
Sixret, several forumites had said that they were uncomfortable with you posting link after link in umpteen posts in a row. It wasn't exactly spam, but it gave people the same feeling of being bombarded.
And then insults started flying, which we also don't want on the forums. Some of the nastiness even spilt over into another thread.
Here's a reminder of the forum rules from Matt's 'Guidelines' thread.

a) Try to keep posts and topics relevant to the forum in which they are posted. Moderators may move or split a topic that has veered off course.
b) Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc., will not be tolerated. This also applies to avatars.
c) Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated.
d) Please do try to use reasonably good spelling, punctuation and grammar, and avoid netspeak, which is annoying.
e) Spam will not be not tolerated here under any circumstances.
f) Please let us do the moderating. If you are unhappy with a post, then e-mail the moderators and we will determine what action is necessary. Do not try to argue back on the board, because it invariably makes the situation worse.
g) The moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post as they see fit. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc., is up to the moderators and not users.
h) The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging and e-mail. If someone has sent you an abusive e-mail or private message, please inform the moderators and we will take action.
i) Please don't quote at length from previous posters unless absolutely necessary, and avoid quoting the post immediately before yours as it takes up space needlessly.
Any violation of these rules will lead to a warning or a total ban, as we see fit.
