Excellent report of the Enid Blyton Day 2010, Anita. It was just brilliant. When you described your walk from the station to Loddon Hall, for me, it was as if you were walking through the village of 'Peterswood' back when the books were written. And what an excellent ending with tribute to Enid. It sent a shiver down my spine. Can't wait to see all the wonderful pictures that go with the report. Hope Paulo doesn't take too long in sending them through. Well done, Anita. :D

Yes, of course.

I originally had a sentence saying "Thank you" to Tony as well, but he removed it!

I can see that Ming has kindly given you the link, Sue. But if you want to know exactly where it is on the website. Look at the top of the forums page and along the right you will see the words Society Website. If you click on this, it will take you to the home page. On the home page Sue, and all down the left hand side, you will see various boxes for you to explore to your hearts content. You'll see the Enid Blyton Day is one of those boxes and if you go into that box, you'll also see the reports and photos of the previous Days also. All you have to do is press on which ever date you want to view.

Have a lovely time exploring.

Thank you for a wonderful report Anita. It brought to life again the memories of a very happy day - and I didn't see you taking any notes either! You have covered the Day so well that I can't think of anything else you might have said. It was indeed a Day to Remember.

I was sitting between two good friends for the speeches and felt relaxed and focussed (even if I was fiddling with my camera and whispering to you for part of the time! ) By the way, I remember that we talked (not while the speeches were on!) about Malcolm Saville's Marston Baines books. Checking my bookcases, I realised that I have got a full set of those - I just haven't got round to reading them yet. I'll have to put that right soon!

Because it's a nice photo! (Bet you wouldn't be complaining at all if it showed you with Marco rather than Marcus! )

Just read through your fine report, thank you, Anita! :D

I think I took a picture of the same wisteria-covered house on my way to Loddon Hall, but back then I didn`t know that it is called wisteria

No, I would still be complaining Anita! I hate Photos of me!!!
I got one with Jemima Rooper, and I don't like it. I shall probably pop back to the stage door on Thursday and ask her very nicely if I could have another. Also if she'd mind signing one of my Famous Five things. Though I'm not sure which yet!
