Ming,I am so JEALOUS of you.I did ask my parents and they said no immediately.Maybe some other time! Julie,I have read the accounts.I found it very enjoyable.Almost as if I were there.Loved the photos too.I'd always wanted to see Ming's photos! Mainly due to curiosity as she flew from Asia!Ming, how exactly did you end up flying across countries alone? It must have been quite an adventure by itself. It sounds like something out of the books. Wish I could come.

I thought Ming was very brave to travel all this way alone. It's something I couldn't do. Talk about an adventure. :D

Very Famous Five-ish.

Hope, all I did was this: wake up on a Thursday morning at 5 am, eat, say goodbye to mum, drive to the airport, ruin my phone (!), get the chauffeur's phone to tell mum to send dad's phone (which he forgot to bring), wait for mum to arrive, some hugs and kisses, into the passengers terminal, check in, hop on the plane, some tears, lounge about for 12 hours and get out at the other end. :D  Quite ordinary, this bit.

But to go all that way on your own though Ming, took a lot of courage.

Ming, you make it sound so simple! But, I agree with the others that it must have taken a lot of courage to travel all the way to England.

Met Barney first of all! And then Tony and Frank and Anita. What a great time I had! Wonderful people, wonderful books, friendly atmosphere - an amazing day. Any first timers this year - you'll love it!

"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

Well, I'm on late shift that day, and will ask tomorrow if I can book the day off

Luckily now I've moved departments I have a better chance of getting down...

As soon as I know I'll get the ticket bought and get down - debating taking 2 days off and staying over one night - who's staying round Twyford, where and when?

I've just had an email from Prabhu (Noddy13.) A number of people here have met him at Enid Blyton Days. He asked me to convey his best wishes to everyone on the Forums and said that he has been very busy but will try to come to this year's Enid Blyton Day if he can.

It would be nice to see him again, he didn't make it last year. I am just waiting for work to confirm my day off and then I will buy my ticket. Has anyone else already bought theirs?
