Good to hear from you again Rob. Glad you're getting on OK even if stuck with a load of gardening chores.

No, Rob, I never received a reply, not in Hotmail neither in Yahoo where I resent it last week.

I enjoyed Journal 71. Every article had something of interest. The only down-side was the comment in the editorial about the declining membership. I hope it improves. Tony has put a lot of effort into it and overcome setbacks like the loss of a computer.

It was interesting to read about how the class responded to the reading of “Five go off to Camp”. Enid wrote for children, so she would have taken their comments more seriously than anything an adult might say about her books.

What a history Brownsea Island has. So many things happened there and what happened in “Five have a Mystery to solve” now sounds quite plausible in the light of its chequered past.

It was also fascinating to read how the films were made - all the things they do to get the finished product.

I should look at J72 again before J73 which I think I’ll save for Christmas.

Yes, sort of. :)
The post was delayed by the lockdowns, (source and destination I suppose) so I got journal 72 before 71 which only recently arrived together with 73.
Actually I was beginning to think journal 71 would never come so it was something to celebrate.
