Hope both of us get our journal within this week or earlier next week, Chrissie. I do think it must have been the Christmas rush where so many packages and parcels being posted worldwide because I always receive the journal within one week(yes, that’s fast) after our friends in UK received theirs.
Another thoroughly enjoyable read with many interesting and informative articles. I particularly liked David Rudd's tribute to Sheila Ray who, like me, was a great fan of the Barney books. Ilsa's letter from Sniffy, sorry Samuel, was another highlight, I do enjoy hearing how some of our favourite characters are getting on. Perhaps Ilsa has some more correspondence waiting to be discovered. Many thanks to all the contributors and our editor for putting it all together.

I have avoided using "Xmas" ever since I heard a sermon one Christmas years ago, when the preacher said that in Maths, 'X' is the unknown factor, but in Christmas nothing can be further from the truth. Of course he was implying that using "Xmas" might indicate ignorance of the real meaning. I have never assumed a disrespect was intended though. Interesting article.
