Oh, I'll have to hunt out my Enid Blyton Treasury then...
I never got to finish that book so that's probably why I didn't see it... :|

Congrats Poppy! That's like.... I'm speechless. That must be AMAZING! And how old are you? 11. That is incredible for someone your age!
Abi.

Still trialling other writers, but will eventually go back to reading a bit of Blyton! Just too many books...

Occasionally will pop in! xx

Looking forward to it, especially the articles by the ‘newbies’.
By the way, I have updated the index up to Journal 48, and will upload it soon.

That's good news, as I use your previous index (46) all the time. I came unstuck recently when I was looking to see what number I had reached with Interesting Ephemera - I made a mistake in Journal 48 but I have got it on track again in 49. I don't think that you have Interesting Ephemera in the index, but I am probably wrong!

Looks good and can't wait to receive it. I was disappointed though to see that Bill's Diary is not included in this issue. Is Terry still working on the next instalment? My guess is that it will be Sea and from Bill's perspective that should be one of the best of the lot. Hope Tony can give us some idea of when we can expect to see this - either in the journal or on the website itself? Keep writing Terry!

That's great news, Lenoir. :D Your index is saved on my computer and I find it very useful indeed.

Already downloaded, thanks so much for doing that. It shows my error immediately as the Diary Display Box should have been No. 21!! Back on course in 49 as the next one is No. 22.

Yes I did Poppy, but I haven't even started thinking about Journal 50 yet!

Journal 49 arrived at about 9.00 this morning and left at 3.00 this afternoon, a lightning quick turnover. So it is now in the hands of Royal Mail. It might be worth adding that I have said in the past that 400 subscriptions are needed to break even, but I'm afraid that we didn't even get close this time so the Journal has gone out at a loss. Perhaps it is lucky that we have the free Forum Journal to fall back on if subscription numbers continue to fall!

I'm really sorry to hear you made a loss on the latest journal Tony. I hope it doesn't come to only having the internet available though. I like having a printed copy that I can pick up and thumb through at my leisure. Especially as I often read the journal in bed.

I thought our new blog was a compromise on the idea of starting a 'forum journal' anyway
