I was interested in the article re Bob the Little Jockey, where Enid says she did not write this. If not, who did, and how many other Hackett's titles were not hers?
It seems out of character that she would put her name to someone elses work?
Comments please,
All best, liz (aunt fanny).

I obviously didn't make it sufficiently clear Liz, but all that series of books (Hackett and Collins) appeared first in French with no credited author. I have some of the French editions and the Blyton versions are simply translations of them. I am equally certain that there is no way that Enid would sit down and translate someone else's work (even if her French was good enough), so it remains a mystery as to who stuck her name on the books. Nevertheless they were published as Enid Blyton books so are included in any Blyton Bibliography - but the doubts about their origin is why they have never been published again.

Best wishes
Tony

Thanks Tony--I still find it odd that Enid would let her name be used , or even did not know? Anyway, hope all well with you, liz.
