Order of the books in the Caravan Family series

This series has The Pole Star Family at #3 and The Seaside Family at #4. However, the foreword in #3 by Enid makes a reference to #4 (and no other books). So, I am wondering if The Seaside Family should be considered #3 and The Pole Star #4? From what I checked (not definitive), they both appeared first in 1950 but I can't tell which came first because the listing within a year is by alphabetical order putting Pole Star ahead.

If I remember correctly most if not all of the series were first published in serial form in one of the magazines. So both were possibly completed in the magazines before the books were printed, and that’s why Blyton could refer to book 4 in book 3.

3. The Pole Star Family (Nov 1950) Playways Mar 1947 – Feb 1948
4. The Seaside Family (Nov 1950) Playways Apr 1949 – Mar 1950

Both books were published in November 1950, but as you can see above 'The Pole Star Family' was the first to be serialised in Playways.
