Where does it say that, Nigel? I rarely go on Facebook so I'm not used to navigating. I can see the post about the password changing but I can't see anything about being bullied into subscribing to the Journal.

I think Nigel is alluding to the Enid Blyton Society facebook post that is exhorting people to subscribe to the journal. I noticed it yesterday but I wouldn't call it bullying.

The Secret Passage in the website is for Journal subscribers only. Like the Secret Seven, we change it from time to time: in our case, when the new issue is released, to keep it exclusively for our loyal subscribers.

Fatty takes his nickname in stride, so I wouldn't call it bullying.

Alma Pudden resents being called Pudding by the sixth-formers in St. Clare's. If I recall correctly, Blyton says if she accepted it and laughed it off, the girls would have called her Pudding in affection, but instead Alma goes into rages. In that situation, I would call the continued use of the nickname bullying.

I was bullied by about six lads viciously with kicks and punches daily when I left a private school to go to the school my dad went to when I was about eight or nine.
I was called 'Lord Fauntleroy' and many other much more vicious insults.

My teacher separated the six bullies and gave me five minutes alone against Ian Bradford the school's top dog and leader of the bullies.
She said she had watched me being bullied day after day and noticed I had never retaliated.
I somehow got the better of Ian Bradford in our teacher sanctioned tussle and was never ever bothered by bullies again.

Strange tactics by my old fashioned teacher.
My dad would not have condoned me lashing out - he is a very mild mannered man.
I did not go home and tell my parents about it - my little brother Mike went through the school without anyone ever even laying a finger on him - because he was my brother...different times!

I had no idea what a white honky was

The term was not in my Enid Blyton books

I've heard of many initiatives "are you being bullied and need help?" but not "are you a bully and need help?"

Does such a thing exist?
