A hilarious moment is in Strange Bundle-- when Fatty practices his ventriloquism on mr Goon. Fatty sees Goon's reflection in the mirror and lets out a scream -- and says'Oh!it was yoyr reflection , mr Goon-- I thought it was someone lying in wait for us". This is just the tip of the iceberg--- in several books there are so many hilarious incidents-- cannot pick them out randomly-- In.First term at Malory towers -- Alicia pretends to be deaf-- in.Mamzelle's class-- -- in fifth form st st clares too-- when Mamzelle , locks up the girls wandering around at night -- thinking them to be burglars-- And it goes on and on and on --- -----

As has been pointed out, there's plenty of funny moments in the books. Less so in Famous Five, although they have their moments - Five Go Off To Camp, in particular, is quite a funny book. Find-Outers is by far the funniest series, but there's some witty parts in the Barney R Mysteries, and with Kiki in the Adventure series.

A lot of my favourite moments have already been mentioned on here. Just to mention some from the Find-Outers: Fatty and Goon in the house in Strange Bundle, and Goon's report of the incident; Ern and Fatty's poetry throughout the series; Ern's gullibility and vocabulary, and habit of running words into each other; Goon's Abbledy, Abbledy in Vanished Prince; Fatty's 'clues' in Spiteful Letters; Fatty and Goon's phone conversations in Hidden House; Fatty dressed as a tramp in Invisible Thief... And so many more.
