Talking of boxing someone's ears, Edgar could be one on the hit list-- the first one in fact-- So does Gwendoline Mary-- not June though -- she's not underhand , though she wrote anonymous letters to someone in the fifth form- At least she realised the gravity of the wrong she had done.Another person , whose ears I would dearly love to box is Junior-- a nasty tell tale

Gwen is a product of pretty awful upbringing. She deserves empathy and loving parents, not grievous bodily harm.

Ooh yes I'd forgotten about her . As someone who longed for a dog that one really hits home and would have been the ultimate hateful thing someone could have done to me. Someone did eventually get me a puppy in secret and when I got home with her if I'd been forced to return her I'd have never forgiven whoever made me give her back.
That's true. Their parents ought to be punished too for not bringing their children up properly .Boatbuilder wrote: ↑12 Oct 2022, 13:22 And if their parents had brought them up properly in the first place they most likely would have behaved properly and wouldn't have strayed from the straight and narrow.

That wouldn't have been half as awful a punishment as being made to hand the puppy back!
