Suppose not when you put it like that, except that I managed to get every one of the 21 Famous Five books in the centenary edition hard-back versions (when they were new our local co-op sold them at vastly reduced prices (original price £9.99 each!) for £1.99 each, which was still well under £49.00!Jo-Jo wrote:Well, £49.99 is not a steep price, just the normal price of each paperback multiliplied by 10, which is the number of volumes in the set, so £12.99 does represent outstanding value.
