Some time ago Tony warned us about the Isle of Wight fraudster who signed various author signatures including Enid Blyton in the books he sold.
Well he is at it again.
HRD Auction Room Ltd, Brading, Isle of Wight has the following 2 signed books for sale in their auction on 21/9/21
They are such bad attempts at defrauding, sad there are people like this who try to cheat people.

Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a way to report a lot to the auction site (unless anyone has an account with the Saleroom and has access to more options?)

It looks like you can contact customer service but I don't know if they'd bother themselves to do anything.
From their help pages:

So basically, do your own checking and if you think it's not authentic don't buy itHow can I be sure of the authenticity of the item?
Before you bid on your new piece you should satisfy yourself as to the condition and authenticity of the item. The best way to do this is to ensure that you inspect the item thoroughly. It's very good practise to request a detailed condition report, additional images and any other bits of information (such as the provenance of an item) from the auctioneer.
On every lot page, you'll see an 'Ask a question' link. Use this for requesting additional details about the item from the auction house.
It's also not a bad idea to do some research on the type of item to see what they usually go for. Our Price Guide is a great tool as it contains our entire database of sold prices going back to 2001! Click on the 'Price Guide' tab on our website to subscribe.

May do no harm to report it anyway. I would have thought it would be of interest to them to know that a well known forger is selling through their site. It ultimately makes them look bad.
In the end however it is indeed "Caveat Emptor".
