Am I the only one to feel uncomfortable with the continuing speculation and commentary on Enid's mental health?
No, you are not the only one. I am also concerned that wild speculation can be turned into fact.

I have in my wardrobe two crepons, one red and one blue. I wear the red when my writing is criticised, the blue when it is praised. Most of today I've been sitting here in the red crepon, but at least I managed to get the blue one on for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Thank-you, Miss Pepper!

PS See the 'Gillian at Malory Towers' thread for more about crepons 'n' crayons.

Isn't it strange how we gel to the one who praises us, yet ignore the majority who show concern. I hope I take on board my critics comments, but being human, my ego probably wins. :|
