I read this:On 28 August 1924 Blyton married Major Hugh Alexander Pollock and then the couple moved to Buckinghampshire. For some reason, 1956, comes to my mind because I think that was when she went to the Lake District then BUT don't take my word for it... :|

Hi Folks!! Just thought you might like to see these images of Enid's & Hugh Pollocks arrival from their cruise in 1930 on the Stella Polaris.

It gives their names,addresses,ages & occupations!!

Pay attention to Enids occupation it says NIL :shock: :shock: :shock:

I'm sorry you're still unable to see the images, Daisy. :( I can see them now - thanks, Maureen. Very interesting, and I notice that Enid had been raised from "NIL" to "Author" by the time of her second voyage.

Seems to some kind of permissions failure stopping Daisy and I from viewing the
pictures. Perhaps it's something to do with not having access to Ancestry.co.uk.
