Hello everyone,
Not sure how relevant this is going to be to most folk, but I've just happened to notice that the 1970s FF series is now available on ITVX. This might be useful to those who either own the DVD series (as I do), but also won't need to necessarily watch things via grainy YouTube footage.
Hope this is helpful to some!
Kindly,
Thomas

So this was a series made before TV then?

Hilarious. Thanks, but given this post and others, I'm blocking you.

Thanks for the heads up, Thomas. You should be able to edit your original title/post to avoid any more good-natured leg-pulling about your typo.

Just a simple typo (1907s instead of 1970s), which I've now corrected.
Thanks for the information, Thomas. It's good news that the series is available on ITVX. If youngsters come across it while browsing, they might well end up as fans.

For information the FF series is only available if you subscribe to ITVX 'Premium' for £5.99 a month or £59.99 a year.

Thanks very much Thomas,
I had heard that for UK folk itvx now has Famous Five, but poor Australians like me have to rely on YouTube ( or our BluRays as you say ).
I tried to fix the fuzzy youtube situation you mention by uploading HD files myself @fivefandownunder if you ever need it ...
Don't worry about typos etc in posts, I just a few days ago put up a picture of a tree that I *thought* was the one where the 1970s cast had an ice-cream, but alas, it was not ...

ITVX offer a free 7-day trial, so potentially you could sign up, watch all the episodes (half an hour each) then cancel before incurring a cost:

Ha ha economising at best ...
This is what they now call 'binging' a TV series; in our time we were slaves to the TV schedule.
I suppose there's advantages to both eras; I do enjoy having the choice of going back and watching something nostalgic whenever I want ...
