The German Pay-TV station Boomerang started airing the 1970s series, and it seems there will be some reruns.

Good news. I wonder why none of the many UK nostalgia channels have ever picked it up?

Good point, John. I often wonder why some programmes get endless repeats (An Idiot Abroad is never off the screen) yet others never see the light of day. I missed the final part of the All Creatures Great and Small prequel (can't remember the title) and it never seems to get a repeat airing. As most digital channels only show repeats, there is a wealth of material that is available to show.

Given that both series were made by ITV then it might be an idea to ask them. We could start a group on FB. They must be looking for new material as I have lost count of the number of times I have seen Rising Damp for example.

And I would be also interested by the way also, whether ITV owns old trailers, pictures, interviews to the serial in its archives. Hope they will aire it again.
