Five Get Into Trouble

Post by RunrigNutter »

I have seen both versions the 70S version and 90s versions, and noticed the 70s was close to the book. 90s version was great; but it was over too quickly, kinda wished they had Anne climb a tree; so it was more like the book. :I read it, but not to any great detail. (well I have, but found it in a library and couldn't help to read :D)

I know me brother/sister and myself when I had the white video collection, we used to do a big screech whenever Anne said Dene :D

Anyways; I have a question; what does Don' Flap mean when George is speaking to Fanny about her hayfever?

I love this episode. Although rooky scared me; when he started speaking, thought Dirty Den was gonna appear,as I believe the person who played Rooky was in a few things.

I think she's saying "Don't flap, Mother". Which means "Don't make a fuss".

Michele suffered with hay fever unfortunately, which was why it had to be written into the script.
