I have seen both versions the 70S version and 90s versions, and noticed the 70s was close to the book. 90s version was great; but it was over too quickly, kinda wished they had Anne climb a tree; so it was more like the book. :I read it, but not to any great detail. (well I have, but found it in a library and couldn't help to read )
I know me brother/sister and myself when I had the white video collection, we used to do a big screech whenever Anne said Dene
Anyways; I have a question; what does Don' Flap mean when George is speaking to Fanny about her hayfever?
I love this episode. Although rooky scared me; when he started speaking, thought Dirty Den was gonna appear,as I believe the person who played Rooky was in a few things.

Five Get Into Trouble
Know the Lord is Good
It is He who made us, and not we ourselves
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture

Re: Five Get In Trouble
I think she's saying "Don't flap, Mother". Which means "Don't make a fuss".
Re: Five Get Into Trouble
Michele suffered with hay fever unfortunately, which was why it had to be written into the script.
