It's also a season two shot (possibly from Go Down to the Sea) - which is rare on the books as most of them are season one photos. Hence we all look a bit fatter/taller/bad hair/marginally less hideous clothing on it.

Hello Gary .Its wonderful to be connecting with "The Gary Russel " of the TV series .
I am sure it was a great experience for you being part of the five and also gracing all the covers of the 21 books which are literally collector's items now .
All the covers are vey well done and I am very fond of them .
I've always thought the opening credits into clips of each of you were quite exciting and the one of you falling into the water from the boat was too cool. How did you manage that one ?

I am sure reminiscences such as this would be of a lot of interest to many of us. If Gary could maybe spend a few moments to recap these exploits?aminmec wrote:Its wonderful to be connecting with "The Gary Russel " of the TV series .

One of the highlights of previous Society Days has been Marcus and Gary's talks on the series. As well as being very funny, they are both a joy to talk to. Their last visit was shared by Gail Renard, which was very interesting. Wouldn't it be great if Jenny could also come along?
