Is the DVD now out. Sorry, I have this topic in the moment not in my view, to many to to do. :-(
But I have seen the booklet, what I have read was nice. Thanks for this text (to the person which wrote it). ;-)
So now I must do something.
friendly greetings from Germany, Soenke Rahn :)

Actually today the official release of the German Famous Five film started. Unfortuantely no English dubbing nor English subtitles, but Marcus Harris fans can catch one or another glimpse of him.

Hi all! I heard a few weeks ago that the Famous Five Collectors' Set blu-ray won't be released in Britain at the moment. There's no release date set so I wouldn't wait for it in case it never comes. I hope you're all enjoying the newly remastered DVDs... I know I am! Happy summer, everyone!

Still waiting on mine, ordered them in April.
And they should be here next week, that's if they don't change the date again!

The supplier hasn't replied to my direect email. So I don't hold out much hope.

Just checked my order and in my order history it says Aug13 but if you look at the DVD itself on the main site it now says October 15th!

Whatever awaits behind closed doors,
Strange noises in the cellar or the sound of creaky floors,
We never let a mystery pass us by,
Just leave a clue and leave the rest to the Famous Five.

Sadly I think the information on Play.com may be wrong, Smuggler's Top, as I've just received the following email from Amazon:
Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:

"The Famous Five - The Complete Collectors Edition [DVD]"
Estimated arrival date: October 18 2012 - October 20 2012

One of Amazon's aims is to provide a convenient and efficient service; in this case, we have fallen short. Please accept our sincere apologies.

I had the Amazon email today too, I'm going to call up the supplier and see what the heck is going on.

EDIT: They cant even get their contact numbers rights, every number on the site are fax numbers.

I have a feeling this fiasco will not do Koch Media's reputation much good. Not answering your customers emails and changing dates is seriously very off putting.

I wonder if they are deliberately holding back the Collector's edition to try and get people to buy the other two. I notice that Amazon are now selling Season 1 at £9.99! If it is being held back I think that is slightly cynical of them.
