I'm a great fan of the "Famous Five" and i want share with you some very rare frame of the italian opening.
Here the serie is know as "La Banda Dei Cinque" (The Band of Five)
The main openeing and ending theme was performed by Elisabetta Viviani and you listen the songs
Clicking Here
Some years ago the song were published on CD also.
I'm looking for more information about the original opening theme of the 70s serie. Anyone have the song in real good quality ?
Thanks

Interesting to hear that. Thanks, Lorenzo! I didn't know the series had been broadcast in Italy.

You may download an mp3 of the original Famous Five theme here.OFM wrote:I'm looking for more information about the original opening theme of the 70s serie. Anyone have the song in real good quality ?
I would like to know more about the Italian versions of the 1970's series. I presume that the episodes were dubbed into Italian, or perhaps subtitles were used? It is wonderful to know that this series was viewed all over Western Europe.
Re: Famous Five 70s in Italy
Thanks for the Mp3! I hope one day to be able to find the original 45rpm also. Someone have the cover too ?
About the italian version i can confirm you that all the episodes were dubbed into italian. In the second picture posted you can view the list of italian voice.
Sonia Scotti (George)
Fabio Boccanera (Julian)
Laura Lenghi (Anne)
Francesca Guadagno (Dick)
A great cast of italian actor!
The series was transmitted only once at the end of 70s on italian public TV (RAI). I hope to be able to publish some extract of italian dub soon. The series is very rare also here in italy.

Strange that a female did the voice for Dick!

We've always known that George wanted to be a boy, but I had no idea Dick had designs on being a girl!
