Gary and Marcus on the move......
Re: Gary and Marcus on the move......
I am actually decended from Cornishmen. However, I was born in Wiltshire, which gives me the right to be called a moonraker.
As to smuggling, I could very well be related to a few.....

I was born in Sheffield, Moonraker. Which makes me a Yorkshireman. But my Dad's Father, came from Lincolnshire.

As an aside, as we seemingly have lots of die-hard Dr Who fans, can anyone tell me the name of this episode/Dr Who series? Have wondered for years:
Tom Baker as Dr Who.
K9 featured.
Something about pagans/wicca people or similar?
Remember a bit when they were chanting 'hegaty, hegaty, hegaty' or something like that and in a circle with K9?
Thanks!

Belly,
The only Tom Baker Era story I can think of, is The Stones Of Blood, which is in The Key To Time series of stories.
The only other suggestion I can make, is the story K9 And Company, which is a one-off story, which starred Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, and definitely has K9 in it. In this story, The Doctor is mentioned by Sarah Jane Smith, but he was never seen in the story.
I hope that this is of help.

The one off story rings bell as I remember it having a beginning and end rather than the normal cliffhanger finish, if that makes sense!
Also explains why I haven't been able to see it when I've hunted through the Tom Baker years DVDs.
I loved it when Sky Gold were doing Doctor Who re-runs but for some reason they didn't appear to touch on the Tom Baker years?

Not a problem, Belly.
K9 And Company, also had witchcraft in it, as well. So it may be what you're looking for.

I quote:-
"TWO of the original Famous Five are set to meet again for the first time in 30 years in Stourbridge."
Well that's a load of rubbish for a start as both have attended previous Enid Blyton Days!!

Re: Gary and Marcus on the move......
Yes the writer could have done a bit more research. Or perhaps they just thought that it sounded more exciting to say "First time in 30 years".
It actually sounds like an interesting event though. I wonder which episode they will show.

Let's hope they'll put a "follow-up" article in the paper. BTW, the article is still in the 10 most-viewed ones... .
