Re: Noddy Leap Frog Game
The one shown in the cave has a piece missing - Noddy himself (which was presumably yellow). An incomplete game should always be worth less than a complete one.
I've no idea how rare it is or how sought after it is.

Anita stole him to put on her mantelpiece.Domino wrote:The one shown in the cave has a piece missing - Noddy himself
Seriously, I agree, it would depend on the condition of the game and whether or not all the pieces are present, as well as how rare it is in general. Have you found one for sale, Katharine, or are you looking for it?

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I would estimate somewhere between £15 - £30 depending on condition Katharine.

Maybe Katharine is looking to SELL one and so looking for a guide to her asking price.

I've seen one for sale priced £20. It appears to be complete, the box just has some signs of wear.

I'd say £20 sounds fair, if it's complete and in reasonable condition and it's something you want.

Coming in a bit late on this, Katherine, but at £20 it is a bargain - I bought my copy (pictured on the website) over 20 years ago and I haven't seen another since It is very rare and would normally cost considerably more than that.Katharine wrote:I've seen one for sale priced £20. This morning I phoned up the shop and paid for the game over the phone, and hopefully I will go and collect it tomorrow.

Hooray! Well done. Please do let us know what it's like when you pick it up — I'm sure everyone here would love to know. (And may we all come around to your place for a game? )

Re: Noddy Leap Frog Game
Courtenay, I've already seen the game, as I was there at the weekend, but wasn't sure if it was worth the money or not which is why I didn't get it at the time. The pieces are all there, and the board was in really good condition, just a bit dusty on the outside, the only issue was the box which was a little ripped, although as far as I can remember it was all there. Someone has since suggested I should have tried to haggle over the price a bit, but I'm no good at that kind of thing.
