Which was the book?

Post by sulagnaroy »

When I was a child I read a book by Enid Blyton that had the stories named 'Catch hold of the nettle firmly and 'Because my mother does it'. I forgot the name of the book and now cannot locate these stories for my daughter. Does anyone remember which book this was? Thanks

Welcome to the forums, Sulagnaroy. I know both those stories but I only have them in different books. Were they definitely in the same volume when you read them as a child? All the books published during Enid Blyton's lifetime appear in our Cave, as well as many published afterwards, but some short story collections may not be listed. You can see the books in which the stories appeared if you click on the following links.

Thank you for your reply. I now think indeed they were two separate books! I just ordered them for my daughter.
