Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can get hold of foreign language translations of Blyton's books? Especially Hungarian, but I'm also interested in other languages, especially Italian and Dutch.
The reason I ask is that I'm learning Hungarian at the moment, and as I recall I really learned to read my own mother tongue fluently and easily largely through reading the Famous Five and other such books. So I'm thinking that if I could get hold of these books in Hungarian, it might help a lot in learning the language.
thankyou!
John
Foreign Translations?
Re: Foreign Translations?
OK, I've answered my own question .... If anyone wants Enid Blyton books in Hungarian (a unique and bizarre language, related only to Finnish and Estonian in Europe), they are right here: http://www.libri.hu/talalati_lista/?page=1&text=blyton" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I discovered this only because my Hungarian teacher asked me if I'd like her to buy a grammar book for me from this bookshop, and I suddenly thought to search for 'blyton'!!

I don't know if you're still looking for Dutch copies of EB books, but the dutch website http://www.bol.com is an online shop where they sell all the EB books that are currently available.

Is that how you picked up fluent English? I have always thought that the only way to really learn a language is to go there and live for a while.umairaraza100 wrote:well i shall recommend you that you should search the book of translation from the google search engine it could provide you the real place through can you buy it and there are also plenty of websites available today through can you learn all the languages quite easily
