We have a fireplace in our new house that has pictures of an elf/pixie (or similar) riding on the back of a shrew or vole which reminded me of a story i read when i was a child about a naughty pixie who was very lazy and instead of walking rode on the back of a shrew!!
Is this actually an Enid Blyton story or has my memory become warped after 25 or so years??
Please help! every time i sit in our new living room it drives me crazy trying to remember it
