Double points for the German title if you can be bothered to get off your backside!

I'm waiting for my parents and used the time to check something. I'm very sorry but I made a mistake with this one. It's Mischief at St. Rollo's, not Cliff Castle.

Well I Googled it Would that make him derriere in French?
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Don't worry Hannah, I make mistakes all the time - it was a great choice of cover!

I won't upload a new picture until the one Pete has uploaded is guessed.
This is the real cover for Cliff Castle. Probably not much easier than the cover of St. Rollo's except for the right number of children for Cliff Castle.

Thank you Hannah.
Of course Fiona guessed the book correctly. It was just the subtle change to the characters name that brought out the puerile, childish humour in me!

I've got a new one for you. Or rather two because the English book was split up.
Many books at Schneider-Verlag have like the second book covers done by Nikolaus Moras, at least the later editions.

Six cousins at mistletoe farm.
Six cousins again.
Six cousins again.
The Chief looked at Fatty. "Brains are good, courage is excellent, resourcefulness is rare," he said, "but generosity crowns everything, Frederick. One of these days I'll be proud of you!" - "Vanished Prince".
Re: Can you guess the English title from these covers?
It's just the first. In German there are four books, two for each of the English books.
Now for a cover with just one person in it:

No, not the Naughtiest Girl. But it's a good idea to consider what she has in her hands (what you probably have already done).

Some hints for covers to come:
Keep in mind that some books have been made into a series (or fitted into another series) in German.
There will also be a few covers of the same book in different editions. So if you think it's a certain book don't discard it just because we've already had it.
And I might just like Pete smuggle in something that hasn't been written by Blyton. There are enough books that have been sold under her name but aren't from her .

House at the Corner and that is the "plain" Liz writing up her stories in secret
You'll never wear your own brains out, Mr. Goon - you don't use them enough !
Re: Can you guess the English title from these covers?
Correct, Irene . House at the Corner or "Lilli from the doctor house" as the German title says.
