Well that’s Quentin tripping over the children while they are map reading on the left (cunningly reversed to discombobulate us) from Five Go To Billycock Hill;
That is Tinker’s father, Professor Hayling, tripping over some camping gear on the right (at first I thought it was that nasty tutor, Mr Roland, all Eileen Soper’s bearded men look pretty much the same to me). From Five Are Together Again
I’m sure Quentin has tripped over a pile of camping gear but can’t recall which book. And of course he is always tripping over or treading on Timmy.

The Second picture is Adventuring Again, the first one I've seen it many times but can't place the book could it be Fall into Adventure?
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

I can only think of Kirrin Island Again, when George goes over at night on her own. Are they both from that book, Pete, maybe different years?

Kirrin Island Again and Five are Together Again? Those are the only ones I can think of when George and Timmy go off to the island alone.

Re: Guess the book from the Eileen Soper illustration
Would the first picture be Plenty of Fun, as there are 5 folk in the boat, so one could be Berta?

Could it be Five Run Away Together - they go to Kirrin Island in that book too.

Re: Guess the book from the Eileen Soper illustration
The second picture is Plenty of Fun, when they're at the fair, hoping to find something out about George's whereabouts. Jo is with them.
The first, I'm not sure about so guessing it's at a fair, I'm going for the last book - Together Again.
