I know that affected my own voting in this poll — I voted for The Valley of Adventure because I wanted to give a vote to the Adventure series as a whole, as it's my favourite series overall (along with Galliano's Circus!).

I said favourite series there, not favourite book. (If I'd been referring to the book itself, I would have called it by its full title of Mr Galliano's Circus.)

I just remembered a post that referred to Galliano's being a favourite - and it was way back last year. I just did a search for it tonight. Near enough, anyway.
