PARROT. Something that "may talk" and is a combination of PAR (standard) + ROT (rubbish)! :wink:

Is it Bassinet? Fish = Bass +I +net (catch) and a Bassinet is a cradle that could contain a baby.

It's a hybrid animal, and it forms part of the word 'belligerent' (so is somewhat belligerent)
