No such rule has been mentioned so I'm not sure. I hesitated even to put a comma in. I also wondered if I should be starting a new sentence as the idea was "A sentence" when it was first suggested.

I say let it continue with "C" as long as people can continue it in a way that makes vague sense, or at least that is amusing. Then move on to "D", etc.
