(When and how do we decide to end the sentence, by the way? I just thought that felt like a good place to put an exclamation mark, but am very happy for it to be removed if anyone else wants to continue the sentence further. )

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I think we put punctuation marks where we want - where we feel it makes most sense!

Yes, but my point was that an exclamation mark there technically ends the sentence, which I don't want to do if others still have ideas for carrying it on — though it does seem pretty long already!

Yes, the idea is to make one sentence and I agree an exclamation mark does signify the end of a sentence. I think considering the letter, we've done very well! Will J be any easier though? Let's see.

I have to admit, this game keeps reminding me of my favourite alphabet book, Animalia by Graeme Base — an Australian classic — in which each page has a sentence using that letter of the alphabet, with an incredibly beautiful illustration in which you have to find as many things as possible starting with that letter. Here's what he did with the letter I...

Anyway, onto the next one!
