The irony of pointing out the mistakes made by someone else, and then using an apostrophe where there shouldn't be one in your own reply.Darrell71 wrote:In a hurry on that post Poppy? I noticed quite a few typo's!
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...

Re: Who Played This Trick?
It should have been Mischief, too and appreciated. If you don't know how to spell something often if you google how you think it's spelt, or type it into a Word document you can find out the correct spelling.Poppy Hutchinson wrote:Thanks Shadow, would somebody mind writing us a list of these as I've never read Mischeif at St Rollo's and am not to familiar with the R mysteries. It would be apprechiated!
Oh and there is no apostrophe in meant as it is one word, not a contraction of two.

Shoot! I knew I shouldn't have used an apo there, but it was a typo!! Yeah I know the old saying, Whoever points out someone else's mistake, gets pointed at by another person. Or something like that.

Re: Who Played This Trick?
So we were waiting for someone to post a list of the other tricks involved in the Blyton books. Is anyone willing to do this? We will carry on with the others for now though.

Who was this trick played on??
Dirty Soap...
There might be a few answers to this. 2 I think, please give them both.
(This might be in the sequels)

Re: Who Played This Trick?
Amy was decided, but Freddie played it on Mamzelle Dupont. Yes it was in the sequels but I've read all of them.
