They would only touch the wire. They need hands to get it down!!

Nice idea it was one I was thinking of. There's another one so try and guess! This might be on a winner!
Poppy Hutchinson wrote:They could try and batter down the door with the sticks?
They aren't strong enough.

Dunno. We had a lot of people at first didn't we. Well, then till someone joins I won't post here at all. You are the winner Poppy. Make a new problem if you want. But I'm absolutely NOT going to post here anymore. It's getting too boring. Only the 2 of us.
Get a stick, knock the wire down, get a piece of paper and put it below the lock on the ground, push the key through the lock with the wire onto the paper then pull the paper through with the key and unlock the door!
In came the Taggertys. They were clean, except Biddy knees looked like she had been crawling half a mile in some muddy place.
Good idea Loony the Dog. I'm glad we are posting on this thread again, it is one of my favourite games! We gave up on it a few weeks ago because it was only me and Sunskriti posting. Feel free to post a new puzzle if you like, there hasn't been one for a while, and yes, good to see you back!

Anne is climbing up a tree when suddenly the branch she was standing on breaks. Luckily she quickly reaches for the next branch and climbs up onto it but there's no way she can climb back down again as their is no branches close enough. All the other three chidren have got is a spool of thread a few stones and a piece of rope that's only half the length of how high Annes's up the tree. There's no houses anywhere round so the can't get a ladder. How will they get Anne down.

But there's only one branch which has snapped isn't there, so if the other threw the rope up to Anne, who quickly ties one end to the branch she holds onto. She them shins down it past the broken branch and reverses her route which she used to get up the tree - ?
