Mmmm.... yes I can't seem to think of a SS book of a 5FO book with a storm in...
can anyone else?

I can’t recall any in the SS, although you could say the weather played a part in the plot of SS on the Trail (the fog).
The thing is, the weather in the SS books is more like the type of weather England typically has, I would think. Rain and damp is mentioned quite a few times, some fog, some snow (but they’re not snowed in like at Kirrin), a couple of warm and sunny spells (but nothing like FFO): in general not too extreme.

Yes, there's a lot of snow in the first SS book but not much other weather.
The FFO books don't seem to really mention the weather...

I don't know if this has been mentioned? But there is a voilent storm in The Sea Of Adventure.
