Three Cheers For The Naughtiest Girl--
Elizabeth Allen actually took pride in being called -- ''the naughtiest girl'',-- she knew it was because she had once been naughty and now the name had stuck-- it was in affection. She was now in the top form-- the sixth-- was the head girl too-- Miss Belle and Miss Best, the two heads, had great faith in Elizabeth's fairness and judgement and decision making. The youngsters looked up to her no end-- and came to her for advice when they needed it. Joan Townsend, who was Elizabeth's greatest friend, now had her young sister in Whyteleaf School-- in the first form-- Elizabeth loved her like her own sister,-- Once during half-term there was a grand fireworks display--- Joan's sister was so excited with the rockets and Whirligigs that she did not notice that a big spark had set her tunic alight-- it was really dangerous and what would have happened nobody knew-- had it not been for Elizabeth who saw the danger-- She rushed to the young child , rolled her on the grass-- part of the tunic was badly burnt-- Elizabeth's right arm was burnt and injured-- but Joan's sister was saved in time. Except for shock , she was perfectly okay-- Several helpful hands carried Elizabeth to the san--- Matron would know what to do--- Three cheers for the naughtiest girl--- hip, hip, hurray--.Next title--
The O'Sullivan Twins as head-girls.

Goodness. That is really good.
But I do think that Elizabeth becoming Head Girl is rather too unlikely. :? :?
P.S.- I haven't read the St. Clare's but think about it. Both twins can't become Head Girls, can they?

There is a 6th book by Pamela Cox, which is quite good in fact, in which the twins are joint head girls, but people are free to think up their own story!

It is the first term in the sixth form and the twins are head girls. There are two new faces. They are, much to the twins' joy, Mary and Francis Waters, their two very old friends. Mary and Francis's father (why are the fathers the more sensible ones in all Blytonies?) has decided that the two have become extremely conceited in Ringmere and, on the twins' father's recommendation has decided St. Clare's to be the best for them. Pat and Isabel, now that they have changed, do not find them as likable as before. Mary and Francis, however are taken in by Angela. However things are just beginning as it is found there is a thief (again????) in the sixth form.

The Children at Snowdrop Cottage
PS: This title is for a sequel to another book. If you don't know for which book, please do not post.
