Thanks for having a stab Shadow - your reasoning is sound although I can't be sure it was my original one! Anyway, over to you.

What have I let myself in for :? . Here goes

Heyo, Brer Rabbit
The Land of Far Beyond
Five get into Trouble
Tales from the Bible

I hope my logic is correct for this odd one out.
If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

Five Get Into Trouble, as it's the only original piece, the others are re-tellings of someone else's work?
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

The first three are set in Cornwall, the fourth is the odd one out as it's in Wales?

Not to worry Carlotta - I'm quite relieved I haven't got to think up another puzzle! :D

I'm afraid we're still on Carlotta's question, Snehalatha. If Carlotta confirms that Colette is right, Colette will get to set the next question.
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.

No turns, you have to answer a question correctly first!
