Well one of the spiteful letters was addressed to Gladys - the Hilton's housemaid. Kitty may have been a friend of Gladys's who was in the Home with her, I think.

Thahks Daisy--- It is in '' Missing Necklace''--- the suspect -- he had odd eyes --one blue and one brown,and he came on a cycle with a hooter.
