You’re right, Bertie. The doll was a present from Fatty.
Your turn next.

True or False?

In 'The Mystery of the Vanished Prince', the woman who rented the caravans in order to take the Prince away had given the false name Mrs Gale.

I am sure that is false as the name does not sound familiar, but unfortunately my copy of 'The Mystery of the Vanished Prince' is missing so I am unable to check.

Correct, Boodi. It was false.
The woman gave her name as Mrs Storm, not Mrs Gale.

I'm not 100% sure about this one. I know they played cards with him, and that they suggested something easy like Snap or Happy Families to let him win, but I can't remember which they ended up going with. I think it was Snap, so I'll say false?

Correct Bertie! Happy Families was FALSE as they played Snap with Sid for hours and let him win. He was so delighted with his success that after their meal he suggested a game of Happy Families, but Julian told him that it was too late and he had better go home. Well done and over to you!

Thanks for that, Boodi.
I don't read the books from the second half of the FF series as much as I used to. I still remember most of them but not as well as the earlier ones which I still regularly re-read. :)

True or False?
In 'The Mystery of the Vanished Prince', the twins Margery and Robert - but Madge and Robbie, not Marge and Bert - won First Prize in the Twin competition.

Sorry. Completely forgot it was my turn.

True or False?

In The Mystery of the Disappearing Cat, one of the false clues that the children put into the cat cage to confuse Goon was one of Luke's whistles.

That is FALSE. They planted a few items but the whistle was probably place there by Tupping.
