Indeed. But I'm not complaining, now that I don't have to think of a question... hehe.

Yes, it was a boathouse. I guess puffin62 gets to ask the next one. The first answer was obviously deleted before I read it. Sorry, Fatty - I'm sure morally, you're the winner!

But if Fatty got the right answer first, then the new Q is his, Moonraker...

I just didn't notice his answer

I've not blushed so much since I asked a girl to kiss me. I was 11 at the time. Fiona, where are you?

Nooooo! There's no evidence whatsoever, so the case is dismissed!

 Not in Portugal, I presume... (wearing one of Fatty's disguises  )

So, as to the Q, here goes:

Q - In a given book, Colin and George stopped off at an antique shop window on their way home, admiring an old painting.
Which book is it, and what's that painting about?

God I've just read it! I'm terrible with the titles though, as most of my books have long since lost their covers.

They were on their way home from the cinema, when they looked into the Antique shop, I always imagined it was 'The Haywain' they were looking at, any how, it's the story where the house belonging to the fair worker and his wife and two children, gets razed to the ground and they move into the old caraven belonging to Peter's dad, next to the hepard's croft.

Surely that's a better answer than just naming the title??

Ok, Peter and Jack once had a flaming row which culminated in Jack chucking in his SS membership. What was the row about, and which was the book?

Jack's sister had brought Boney to the meeting and Peter flew at Jack over letting slip the password etc, kicking him out of the society.

The book was Shock for the Secret Seven

Q Matt the shepherd has a dog. What's his name? (the dog's)

Starlings is the hotel, but wasn't it George who was kept off school? I think he had a cold.
