Correct Nick and over to you.
The Chief looked at Fatty. "Brains are good, courage is excellent, resourcefulness is rare," he said, "but generosity crowns everything, Frederick. One of these days I'll be proud of you!" - "Vanished Prince".

A slightly alternative question here, which I hope will be allowed. Sticking with Well Done Secret Seven, the books produced in the late 70s/early 80s have TV style covers, one assumes to accompany the FF books at the time. The one for WDSS shows something that doesn't happen in the story.

What is it?

I am going to guess and say a ladder was used to get up the tree.

Thanks Nick!

In one of the books, Janet is really struggling to remember the password, until her mother mentions something that refreshes her memory.

What was the password, and how did Janet’s mother help?

I can't recall this one exactly but something is nagging in the back of my mind that the password may have been lamb chops becuase Janet's mother was making mint sauce?

That’s close enough! The password was mint sauce and Janet remembered it when her mother was cooking lamb and mentioned picking some mint.

A tad lucky I agree.

In which town/village is the Goods Yard in Secret Seven on the Trial located?

Pettlington is mentioned, but as it is on the direct line to Swindon, Beaconsfield is probably the correct location. My all time favourite SS story.

Is it the goods yard near Kepley (?spelling)? Bangs from fog signals can be heard in the distance on the main line, which is probably based on the Swindon main line.
