[Raci:] "Q, What instrument does Skippy play?"

Skippy?! Who's that? Is that the kangaroo from Five Go to the Australian Bush? :) I'll guess a diggerydoo, then!

Charlie, the chimp.

Snippet was a poodle, Nosey a Jackdaw - tame after breaking it's wing from a fall down a chimney. Both were in book 18.

Who's the first person in the series, that Timmy bites, and in which book?

I think its meat pie and jam tarts. One of the latter lands on Mr. Sticks nose and wakes him up, leading to one of the most memorable scenes in the Five books.

Assuming I got this right and so that gives me the right to ask a question,

"What is the name of the little girl kidnapped by the Sticks in Five Run Away Together?"

Hi everyone, at last a question I can answer! :o Jennifer Armstrong.

Q: Who's the character who lives by the disused railway line in Five Go Off to Camp?

PS My last post before Christmas (currently not much more than one hour to go here in Australia) so I'll wish everyone a safe and festive Christmas! It's been a wonderful year on the Society's forum (although not so great a year for Aussie cricket  ). Looking forward to lots more fun in the New Year.

I haven't a clue, but I'll stab in the dark and guess Beethoven's 5th. My reason? Because I doubt that EB would choose an obscure one and this is really popular!!

Q: What is the name of Sniffer's father in 'Five go to Mystery Moor'?

I think it is the pastoral symphony which is Beethoven's 6th symphony, used in Disney's Fantasia. For those who have seen it, it's the one which has unicorns and pegasus ponies etc in the animation.

However I don't remember the name of Sniffer's Father ever being mentioned so I guess I can't ask a new Q. :(

Yes it is the Pastoral symphony (6th). So you were very, very close, Lulie.

I also can't remember Sniffer's father. Jake perhaps?
