Thanks, Boatbuilder.

Is it Billycock Hill?

By the way, thanks for the link about telegrams, Anita. Very interesting and informative!

I was originally going to say Finniston Farm but that’s probably too obvious. But I don’t have a better answer at this stage!

Five go adventuring again.
The Chief looked at Fatty. "Brains are good, courage is excellent, resourcefulness is rare," he said, "but generosity crowns everything, Frederick. One of these days I'll be proud of you!" - "Vanished Prince".

That's correct, Anjalli. Well done.

Yes, it was in the second book when they visit Kirrin Farmhouse and find the map behind the secret panel. The farm dogs get an early mention, saying they'll get along fine with Timmy.

Over to you.

Thank you Bertie.

That was a very exciting time when they found that map and how they went about getting it deciphered.

Okay new question:

Staying with "Adventuring Again" Mr. & Mrs Sanders was going to have company for the holidays. Who was coming to the farmhouse?

Correct Morgan Jones, yes but they were actually acquaintances of Mr. Roland in his thieving plot.

Thanks Anjalli.

Thank you Morgan Jones.

New question:

In the first book George disabled the thief's boat so they couldn't leave the island. How did she do that?

With an axe!! :D She hacked at the machinery until the motor boat was completely disabled. I always loved that scene.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
