With Winnie-the-Pooh, in the Weald
When up bounced Tigger

(Lovely to see the reference to the Weald — I used to live only an hour's drive from that area and I have been to Ashdown Forest and visited the original Poohsticks Bridge!)

When Betty Maxey illustrated,
Most fans found her quite overrated.
She drew Anne with Flare(s),
And missed off George's glares,
But they still left Pete feeling elated.
