His uncle wiped his hand across his forehead in a gesture of bewilderment. Shaking his head he said "I really don't know Dick. This whole affair is most puzzling."
George frowned at her father. "It's not like you to be unsure of anything!" she said, while Julian looked at the pair of them and smiled, thinking how alike they still were.

Anne suddenly declared,"I think we need to realise that we are all under powerful influences here due to Uncle Quentins age reversing experiment and perhaps nothing we experience here is really what we think!"
George agreed."Anne, perhaps you're right.Lets get out of this cave and head for.......

.....the dungeons. After all that's where all the queer experiments were carried out all those years ago. Perhaps there's something there, sort of ...lingering, you know...?" George's voice died away.

EDIT: Sorry this post doesn't fit here as it was aimed at a few posts back but was typed and submited too late.

"Quite very possibly" Uncle Quentin said. "We don't know if anyone else is on this island, we don't know what he knows, or doesn't know for that fact. He is although the same physical age on this island as us roughly enough, all in our childhood though which does help."

"But where is he now?" asked Anne.

In case you're wondering which post is was meant to follow it was:
pete90125 wrote:"Super Bazookas and Holy Mowly!" ejaculated Dick."Uncle Quentin, does this mean we are all in danger?"
Just forget the post as I can't delete it.

By this time they had neared the old ruins.Suddenly George shouted ‘Where’s Timmy? Timmy! Timmy! Come here! Where have you got to?’ But no Timmy came. There was not even an answering bark. ‘Oh blow’ said George., ‘Now he’s gone down some extra-deep rabbit hole, I suppose. I must get him. Timmy! Wherever are you?’......

She turned to her father, tears in her eyes. "Father, does this strange business only affect us? I thought for a moment that Timmy would appear."
Her father shook his head. "Do think George," he said. "This strange change has happened to you - but you are still alive. Timmy is long gone - he can't be resurrected you know!"
The others looked sympathetically at their cousin.
"Come on!" said Dick. "Let's see what's down below." and he went across to where the concrete slab covered the dungeon entrance.

"What?" said Julian. "How are we here? A moment ago we were standing at the entrance in the courtyard, now we're back in the half-ruined room in the castle. What on earth is happening?"

The others rushed over to him. Dick looked very pale and lay there with his eyes shut.
George turned a furious look on her father. "What have you done to my island?" she shouted. "Are you trying to poison us all?"
But to everyone's horror Quentin himself slowly sank to the ground with a moan.

"Get me out of here" came a stifled shrill voice from where Uncle Quentin lay.

Julian rolled him over and it was the Thud that had landed on the ground with Dick a few minutes previous.

Suddenly...
